The Pridnestrovian delegation became acquainted with modern trends in customs development

The committee has recalled that the established rules are aimed at ensuring the fastest and most convenient procedures for the export of Pridnestrovian goods by foreigners

According to Vitaly Nyagu, indirect losses, amounting to about $35 – 40 million, will also damage the Pridnestrovian economy

Vehicle "age" restriction was removed, duty-free vehicle import for particular category of citizens was introduced, and also customs duty on new cars with large engine displacement was reduced

The new approach will enable economic agents to submit a simplified report to the customs authorities once a year

State Customs Committee (SCC) prepares new rules to shorten the time for preparation of required documents and to reduce the expenses of economic agents

Work is currently under way to harmonise the technical requirements for the exchange of information between the authorities of the PMR and Russia about the movement of goods and vehicles across the customs border

As noted by the SCC, the interests of exporters and importers will be the priority

Tasks to enhance dialogue with economic agents have been set by the State Customs Committee (SCC) of the PMR

The president also recommends the foreign ministry to continue the dialogue with Moldova about unblocking the work of the Joint Control Commission

From 10 May to 26 June 163 vehicles were imported to Pridnestrovie, which is 38% less than in the same period of 2015. 36% of them accounted for cars with the exploitation period of 10-15 years

Customs services of Russia, Finland, Latvia and Estonia also took part in the event

The memorandum is, first of all, aimed at giving practical benefits to the Pridnestrovian exporters selling goods to Russia

From now on relevant government decrees have come into force
