Tiraspol, March 22. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The State Customs Committee (SCC) wants to change customs formalities in order to support exporters. The head of the SCC Customs Cooperation Department Albina Kerimova told about the measures of the nearest future during the conference in the Pridnestrovie's Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Wednesday.
According to Kerimova, they are working on the simplified customs registration mechanism for the exported goods.
«It will give an opportunity to send a notification to the customs in the form of digital customs declaration about an intention to export goods and not to send a vehicle with freight to the customs itself, but to the customs checkpoint on the border where the customs control, including the examination, will be carried out» — she noted.
Such mechanism will shorten the time for preparation of required documents, reduce the expenses of economic agents and remove redundant inspection of goods, Kerimova explained.
Also, there will be other measures. For example, a document permitting legalization of the goods exported or imported by the railway transport in any customs authority of Pridnestrovie is being prepared. Beyond that, the State Customs Committee and the Central Bank plan to stop using a paper version of the repatriation declaration form. According to Kerimova, it will save time and money of the economic agents.
The head of The Customs Cooperation Department of the State Customs Committee also told about the agreements with Russia concerning the export optimization for the Pridnestrovie's goods to the Russian Federation and the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union. A protocol designed to intensify work on the project concerning exchange of the information on the goods and the vehicles has been signed at the beginning of the year. Such information exchange will provide an opportunity to identify the Pridnestrovie's goods within the total amount of export from Moldova to Russia and will remove customs barriers for the Pridnestrovie's export, Kerimova explained.
«Moscow has also an interest in it because this project will remove unlawful export schemes of vegetables and fruit from the EU countries under the guise of Pridnestrovian goods to the Russian Federation," the State Customs Committee officer noted.
