Tiraspol, 15 August. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The subject of facilitating the exportation of Pridnestrovian goods by non-residents is directly related to the provision of support for domestic manufacturers, and therefore, special attention is given to its development by the government and customs authorities.

The website of the SCC announces that the procedure for the exportation of small commercial shipments (up to $5,000) has been improved.

In June, a norm that restricts the monetary and quantitative restrictions on the export of commercial consignments by business entities entered into force. This means that foreign citizens and non-resident legal entities have the right to export commercial shipments of goods (except those prohibited to export) in any quantities and volumes.

Customs clearance is carried out directly at a border crossing point. All that is needed is to fill out a customs declaration and pay a small sum of money in fees — 0.18% of the customs value of the goods.

It should be noted that in addition to their personal baggage, foreign individuals have the right to take out of the country up to 50 kg of goods for personal use with the total customs value of up to $1,000 verbally declaring them at a crossing point.

The established rules are aimed at ensuring the fastest and most convenient procedures for the export of Pridnestrovian goods by foreign citizens. This includes compliance with the minimum requirements of current customs legislation and customs statistics.
