The PMR President attended the plenary session of the Supreme Council. The event was divided into two parts: a celebratory section and a working section. The first part was dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the republic's legislature. The founding date of the Pridnestrovian parliament November 29, 1990 is linked to the day of the first session.

Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized, congratulating the parliament on the anniversary, that this is a celebration not only for parliamentarians and the staff of the Supreme Council, but also for the state as a whole and every citizen. The President recalled the circumstances of the formation of the legislature, which are directly related to the founding of the republic. He thanked Igor Smirnov and through him the first deputies – the founders of Pridnestrovie.

The President noted that representatives of different generations are present in the plenary hall today – those who stood at the origins of Pridnestrovian statehood, those who developed and strengthened it, and those who will continue to do so. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that each convocation has faced challenges. The seventh is no exception. The parliamentary five-year period has seen a pandemic, military action in a neighboring state, an economic blockade, and an energy crisis. The President thanked the deputies for their perseverance and work on behalf of the Pridnestrovian people. The most distinguished legislators were awarded state awards. To mark the anniversary, departmental commemorative badges "35 Years of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic" were also presented. The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky, who headed the Supreme Council of the sixth convocation, was among the recipients of the award.

The parliamentary corps of the seventh convocation is meeting for the final time today. The elections held in Pridnestrovie last week resulted in the formation of a new convocation – the eighth convocation.
