Such an opinion was voiced by the acting foreign minister of the PMR, Vitaly Ignatyev, following his meeting with Moldova's chief negotiator, Gheorghe Balan

A meeting of the first people's deputies of the PMR took place in Tiraspol

During the meeting, the sides discussed the current factors adversely affecting the situation in Pridnestrovie

They have agreed to implement a number of simultaneous measures aimed, first of all, at stabilising bilateral cooperation in the trade sphere

Diplomats discussed the current situation in the negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova.

During the dialogue, special attention was paid to the current social and economic situation in the republic amid the global financial crisis and unilateral restrictions imposed by the neighboring countries

Among the other issues they discussed the question concerning the opening of the Pridnestrovie's representational office in Moscow

A parliamentary commission has been established to inquire into the suspension of excisable goods import from Ukraine

However, according to the Russian diplomat, the pause in the negotiation process has "lasted too long", and for the sides to return to a dialogue, Kishinev has to find a way out from the situation it has created

The next meeting of the Pridnestrovian and Moldovan chief negotiators may take place on 11 March
