Tiraspol, 14 March. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. A meeting between the head of the Priudnestrovie's Foreign Ministry Vitaly Ignatyev and the Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian MFA Sergey Gubarev took place in the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation.

During the dialogue, the sides discussed a current situation in the negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova. As the MFA Press Service reports, Vitaly Ignatyev called the Russian diplomat's attention to the fact that the Moldova's readiness for the direct and comprehensive interaction with the Pridnestrovie's side wasn't actually realized, however the Moldovan side had declared about it at the first meeting between the political agents previously that year.

«Vitaly Ignatyev emphasized that the Moldavan side actually continues evading from the meaningful dialogue at the level of expert (working) groups," the press service of the ministry reports.

Exchange of opinions on a number of topical issues concerning the bilateral relations between Pridnestrovie and Moldova including in the field of politically charged criminal prosecution against the citizens of Pridnestrovie by Moldova, a perspective concerning the motor transport and the freight railway transportation through the territory of the republic also took place during the conversation.

Special attention was paid to the Moldova's and Ukraine's intention to establish joint customs border control at the Pridnestrovian border that is at the Kuchurgan checkpoint. «Vitaly Ignatyev noted that those plans of neighboring states carry the serious destructive potential endangering Pridnestrovie not only with blockade tightening and restrictive measures in the economic field, but also with worse prospects of political dialogue in general," it is said in the message of the press service.

At end of the meeting, the sides highly appreciated an upward trend of bilateral interaction between Pridnestrovie and the Russian Federation and shape plans for the further cooperation on the questions of mutual interest.
