Meeting of the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky with the European delegation took in the negotiation hall of the presidential executive office. The group of visitors was headed by the Head of the Department of the European External Action Service for Georgia, Moldova, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Belarus Dorota Dlouchy-Suliga. She was accompanied by the Head of the EU Delegation to the Republic of Moldova Janis Mazeiks. The First Deputy Chairman of the Government – Minister of Economic Development Sergey Obolonik, the Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev and the Advisor to the PMR President Pavel Prokudin participated in the working meeting from the Pridnestrovian side.
Today's visit of Dorota Dlouchy-Suliga to Pridnestrovie in her current position was the sixth. More than four months have passed since the previous meeting. Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that more negative than positive changes have been noted in the Moldovan-Pridnestrovian negotiation process during this time. The PMR President emphasized that there was an acute lack of dialogue between the parties. He expressed confidence that Moldova is deliberately blocking the work of the legitimate, recognized and effective format of the "Permanent Conference...", and emphasized that references to the impossibility of gathering the "5+2" participants due to the complexity of Russian-Ukrainian relations are unfounded. Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that important issues remain unresolved; new problems arise, which are put in the archive – an archive of problems, not their solutions. He emphasized that there are no alternatives to dialogue at the negotiating table: "Neither the gas crisis, nor the exclusion of Pridnestrovians from participating in the elections taking place in Moldova, nor economic pressure, nor any other pressure on our citizens will help. Only understanding, dialogue, compromise – reciprocal movement will help". Vadim Krasnoselsky called on European diplomats to hear the Pridnestrovian position and facilitate the resolution of the accumulated problems, if possible. Their detailed discussion continued without media participation.
