Tiraspol, April 19. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. According to the PMR Ministry of Foreign Affairs press service, the meeting of the PMR and RM expert (working) groups in the matter of transport development as well as road facilities was held on the Pridnestrovian side initiative.
The parties continued a working on eliminating the problems that are fixed in the Protocol of the OSCE Mission of October 7, 2020. More detailed attention was paid to finding solutions to the re-registration of converted and inherited vehicles with neutral license plates.
The progress within the document remains extremely limited due to the Moldovan side shifting stand. The latter one, in turn, makes it difficult to work with protracted procedural aspects and politicized approaches that postpone the prospect of agreeing on mutually acceptable solutions, the PMR Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.
Earlier the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky in his Telegram channel commented on the Pridnestrovians concern in regard to the Moldova’s request for a movement from September 1 in the Ukraine territory will be possible only for automobiles with neutral license plates. The PMR President believes that such measures are counterproductive and dangerous for regional stability, because they are based on rejection of civilized dialogue, violate the negotiation process principles in the 5 + 2 format, current agreements, as well as also restrict rights and freedoms of the PMR residents.
