Tiraspol, September 25. / Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The President of the PMR Vadim Krasnoselsky and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Vitaly Ignatiev met the Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs and Relations with Compatriots Konstantin Zatulin. It should be reminded that the Pridnestrovian delegation headed by the President is on a working visit in Moscow.
Vadim Krasnoselsky expressed gratitude to Konstantin Zatulin for the cooperation aimed at strengthening and developing Pridnestrovian-Russian relations, the Head of the state press service reports.
«At any opportunity, we try to remind that we have obligations – if not legal, then human, moral – towards Pridnestrovie. Many times you have shown the intention to be together with Russia. Russia remembers it, and the Russian people know about it. Though Pridnestrovie is separated from Russia by borders, it is not separated from us properly. We are on the same side», – Konstantin Zatulin emphasized.
The parties interest in a constant constructive dialogue is due to the fact that 220 thousand Russian citizens live in Pridnestrovie. According to Vadim Krasnoselsky, 150 thousand Pridnestrovians have reason and for the most part, desire to acquire Russian citizenship, but due to circumstances they were forced to obtain other states passports – Ukraine and Moldova. The solution to this problem is one of the priority tasks today. Work in this direction is underway.
«This question is more humanitarian. It is not fair to accuse the pridnestrovians having any other citizenship. The responsibility lies on those who disorganized the Soviet Union and allowed such a situation. People were forced to adapt. Now the time has changed, it is also necessary to make new decisions. It would be fair in relation to our people. The pridnestrovians wait for it», – Vadim Krasnoselsky noted.

There are proposals related to this money allocation to the affordable housing construction.
