The PMR President participated in the session of the PMR Supreme Council

The President took part in the plenary session of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. Marina Guretskaya took the oath of judge of the Constitutional Court of the PMR in the presence of the President. A qualified lawyer with 26 years of experience, she worked in the judicial field for 23 years, going from a chief specialist to the head of the legal department and adviser to the chairman of the Constitutional Court. She is a laureate of the State Prize of the PMR and the holder of the honorary title "Honored Lawyer of the PMR". She is engaged in teaching. She was appointed to the post of judge of the Constitutional Court of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in August of this year, replacing Sergei Stepanov, who completed his work due to reaching 70 years – the maximum age for serving as a judge.

Vadim Krasnoselsky thanked Sergei Stepanov for his work, noting his professionalism and responsiveness. The President recalled that Sergei Stepanov's career began in the prosecutor's office, then he worked in justice. Sergei Stepanov was on guard of constitutional control 13 of his 46 years of service. The PMR President especially noted his participation in the formation of the legal foundations of the young republic. The President and the deputy corps gave the new judge a parting word. Marina Guretskaya, having taken the oath, officially assumes her duties as a judge of the Constitutional Court of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
