Tiraspol, April, 25. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The expert (working) groups on telecommunications and postal services from Pridnestrovie and Moldova are trying to resolve problems with the delivery of periodicals from the Russian Federation to subscribers from Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
The meeting of the parties which was attended by representatives of the mediators and observers in the negotiation process was held yesterday at the office of the OSCE Mission in Chisinau, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reported.
Experts also raised the issue of optimization of mutual settlements in mail exchanges.
"Earlier experts of the parties discussed submitted proposals on the parameters of further interaction, providing for the settlement of the problematic aspects that have arisen," the report says.
Following the meeting, the Pridnestrovian party encouraged to prevent blocking the delivery of periodicals from the Russian Federation to Pridnestrovie until the final settlement of the issue.
At the beginning of the year there was a problem with the delivery of periodicals of Russia to Pridnestrovie: the Moldovan party began to stop these cargoes that were sent to subscribers from Pridnestrovie under the pretext of the need for customs clearance, which is associated with financial costs. Thus Moldova has violated the existing agreements in the field of postal communication, emphasize in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
