Tiraspol, June 7. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Pridnestrovie's President Yevgeny Shevchuk signed the law "About Additional Measures Aimed at Stabilization of Pridnestrovie's Economy". It will enter force after official publication and some of its articles – from April 1, May 1 and July 1 of this year.
The law, in particular, provides fiscal reliefs for the shoe and chemical industry enterprises and also for the Metalon factory in Rybnitsa. Besides, it will exempt the microenterprises using the simplified taxation system from rendering a statistical report until the end of 2017. Also until the end of 2017, confirmation of the ISO certificates on the goods imported to Pridnestrovie from the CIS countries and the European Union is cancelled.
In general, the law consists of 11 articles. We will remind that originally the President vetoed it and submitted it for reconsideration to the Supreme Council. Also, the Head of state impugned practicality of those above mentioned articles of local nature using exaggerated budget income and endangering the consumer with cancellation of obligatory certification of import goods. However, the parliamentarians actually ignored the arguments of the President and overcame the veto on May 25. Time will tell what economic effect will be from the adopted law.
