The Pridnestrovian State Museum is scheduled to open in May. The premises for it are being prepared on the basis of the expanded infrastructure of the United Museum in Tiraspol. The complex of buildings and territories is customarily called the museum quarter. Construction work is at the final stage. The attention of specialists is focused on filling the museum at present. We are talking at the current stage about the department dedicated to the Great Patriotic War. The funds are rich. Many exhibits have been ordered additionally – for the integrity of the future exposition. Some will be provided by museum institutions of the republic, something is brought from abroad, some design elements are made by Pridnestrovian specialists. There are preliminary developments for the placement. The project is being clarified so that the exhibition spaces both indoor and outdoor are used optimally. It is important not only to fill the museum as much as possible, but also to ensure the visibility of the exhibition material, Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized during an off-site meeting held today.
The President asked those responsible for the project implementation about the readiness of individual elements, discussed details, and made current adjustments to the work plan. The President drew attention to the need to think about the banner design of the border between the completed block and the site where work will continue. Museum visitors should not see the construction site, the President emphasized.
A cabinet meeting on the design of exhibition spaces is scheduled for the coming days. Specialists will prepare a visualization taking into account the amendments agreed upon today.
