Anti-crisis formula: more benefits, few barriers

The budget deficit has made it impossible for Pridnestrovie to fight the crisis by pouring funds into the banking and industrial sectors, said the minister of economic development, Alevtina Slinchenko, on Radio 1

According to the Ministry of Economic Development, the anti-crisis programme may include measures facilitating business and granting tax benefits to the entrepreneurs who aim to expand their businesses.

It is recalled that the government is already implementing the president's decision to halt all scheduled inspections of businesses and enterprises has been exempted from the so-called tax on losses.

Now the ministry is exploring possibilities to facilitate and unify all accounts submitted by businessmen to public authorities.

«In cooperation with the State Statistics Agency and the tax inspection, we will try to combine all necessary indicators into a unified account — clear and easy to fill in for businessmen," noted the minister.

With regard to tax benefits for entrepreneurs, the minister underscored that they should be granted to the economic entities which launch new production lines or expand the existing ones, creating new jobs.

The Ministry of Economic Development will focus efforts on seeking new foreign markets for our manufacturers, boost import substitution activities and, together with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, cooperation with small and medium businesses.
