Vitaly Ignatiev discussed the Moldovan "law on separatism" with the head of the OSCE mission

Tiraspol, February 10. / Novosti Pridnestrovya /. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev held a working meeting with the Head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova Kelly Kaiderling. The parties discussed the details of the upcoming visit to Pridnestrovie by the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia Bujar Osmani, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR reports.
Kelly Kaiderling informed about the goals of her office in the process of the Moldovan-Pridnestrovian settlement in 2023. In response, Vitaly Ignatiev detailed the opinion of Pridnestrovie on the reasons that worsen the degradation of the situation in the negotiation process. At the same time, the diplomat emphasized the contribution of the Pridnestrovian side to the preservation of negotiation mechanisms - in particular, the full implementation by Pridnestrovie the arrangements from the Berlin Plus package and the country's leadership's sustained commitment to peace and stability.
In this sense, he appealed to the OSCE to pay special attention to the destructive actions of Chisinau. Examples: blocking the import of medicines, the movement of Pridnestrovian vehicles; banking restrictions; and withdrawal from the telecommunications agreement.
The main attention during the meeting was given to the Moldovan so-called law on separatism, which poses a direct threat to the negotiation process. On this topic detailed exchange of views and assessments took place. Further discussions on this issue will be continued next week during the visit of a high delegation of the OSCE Chairmanship to Pridnestrovie.
