Tiraspol, December 7. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The State Customs Committee of the PMR holds online consultations with leading specialists of the Federal Customs Service of Russia. The topic of communication was information technologies introduced in customs authorities, the press service of the State Customs Committee reported.
Russian customs officers spoke about new technologies aimed at simplifying and accelerating customs formalities, and also answered questions from their Pridnestrovian colleagues.
“The methodological assistance of Russian colleagues on information technology issues is of particular interest to the State Customs Committee, since one of the main tasks of the office is creation of an Electronic Customs. Already today, in accordance with the PMR Development Strategy, the technology of automatic (without the customs officers` participation) decision-making on goods output is being introduced, while this mechanism is already working for goods exported from the territory of Pridnestrovie,” the State Customs Committee emphasized.
It will be recalled that representatives of Pridnestrovian customs authorities are studying the FCS experience in the framework of the agreements on cooperation reached earlier.
