Tiraspol, July 12. / Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Tiraspol commented on the statement of the RM diplomatic service concerning the Head of the Official Representation of the PMR in the Russian Federation speech on the UN platform.
It should be reminded, Leonid Manakov participated in the 41st session of the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva. The diplomat made the report «Human rights as a basis of cooperation development of Pridnestrovie with the United Nations».
In the speech, he, in particular, told about infringement of the rights of the pridnestrovians by the authorities of Moldova.
The RM called this speech a provocation and demanded to remove Manakov's report from the website of the UN.
The Foreign Ministry of the PMR considers the reaction of Chisinau as recognition of overall performance regarding human rights protection.
«The MFA of the PMR believes that painful reaction of the Moldavian side to human rights activists of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic at the level of the leading international organizations, including the United Nations Human Rights Council, speaks about recognition of such work efficiency», - it is said in the official comment of the MFA of the PMR.
Department emphasizes that the attempt to oppose human rights activity of Pridnestrovie to negotiation process demonstrates weak possession of the standard contract and legal bases of the Moldo-Pridnestrovian dialogue which has been recently appointed by officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the RM.
Tiraspol reminds that rights and freedoms protection of the person in Pridnestrovie is not only one of the main objectives of negotiating with the RM, but also, in general, the Pridnestrovian state priority.
«It is obvious that dynamics in the negotiation process is undermined not even by the international human rights activists of Pridnestrovie, but by prolonged unreasonable non-execution by Moldova of the undertaken obligations under the agreements reached in 2016-2018. In the context of the intentions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the RM to complain about the work which is carried out by Pridnestrovie in the human right measurement we urge intermediaries and observers to give an assessment to discriminatory attacks of the Moldavian side in the course of settlement and not to allow any restrictions of the international work on human rights of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic», - it is emphasized in the comment.
