Bendery, April, 6. / Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Employees of the public authorities office participated in works on the improvement of the Bendery fortress. The management and specialists of Presidential Administration planted trees and shrubs in Alexandro-Nevsky Park, representatives of the Government office put citadel infrastructure in order, parliamentarians and the staff of the Supreme Council did clear-out in Alexandro-Nevsky temple and arranged the territory around it, the Press Service of the President reports.
Participants were welcomed by the Head of the state who arrived with the spouse Svetlana Krasnoselskaya. The President reminded that last year also within the all-republican Saturday voluntary work day trees and bushes were planted here.
«In a year we see the results. Joint efforts we built the park – the good vacation spot for people. The practice of carrying out on this platform of actions, its attendance said that the park is demanded among the citizens and tourists. Today we gathered, here again, to clean up the mess and plant bushes. We contribute to the improvement and development of the park again, we do it even more convenient and attractive for citizens», – Vadim Krasnoselsky noted.
His spouse paid attention to that fact that on the invitation to participate in a Saturday voluntary work day many people responded. According to Svetlana Krasnoselsky a, it is valuable that parents came with children, acquainting them with work, showing the aspiration to make a contribution to the common cause.
According to the Deputy Chairman of the Government Stanislav Kasap, the Saturday voluntary work day is a fine opportunity to combine business with pleasure.
«Saturday voluntary work days are very important for that simple reason that they allow to come off a routine in which all people who work in offices are shipped. After a long winter, after the lack of the sun and fresh air, it is just possible to leave to breathe and at the same time to be engaged in useful business. Both such important historical and tourist object as the Bendery fortress, always demands some working hands and volunteering from citizens», - the Press Service of the Government quotes the Deputy Prime Minister.

Today the Bendery Fortress gains the increasing popularity as a tourist object and the vacation spot of the citizens. This year the plan of measures, carried out here, will be saturated, the mayor told. The next event will take place on the first day after Easter.
«This place becomes very popular among the citizens and city visitors. Families come here to have a rest and after the working day. During the creation of this park, we also planned people could come here to have a rest and enjoy beautiful landscapes. Work on up classing of the city beach is now conducted, and this summer we will open it», - Roman Ivanchenko concluded.
