Tiraspol, 10 August. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Joint Council of Labor Collectives held a meeting in Tiraspol. The topic of the agenda is an appeal to the people of Russia and Moldova.
«Rather than taking part in the celebration dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the successful joint peacekeeping mission of Moldova, Pridnestrovie and Russia on the Dniester, the leadership of Moldova supported by Romania has taken a number of provocative steps," the chair of the Joint Council of Labor Collectives Vladimir Yemelyanov read out.
The current situation around Pridnestrovie was actively discussed at the meeting. The JCLC members called Moldovan authorities' steps unacceptable.
It's important to remind that the plane with the Russian President's envoy for Pridnestrovie Dmitry Rogozin onboard couldn't land at the Chisinau airport on July 28, in the day of anniversary of the peacekeeping mission on the Dniester.
Vladimir Yemelyanov noted that exclusion of the Russian peaceful delegations with cultural, social, public and humanitarian programs from Moldova was a demonstration of a resolute desire of Moldova's leadership, by all means, to undermine peace on the Dniester.
«We appeal to the citizens of the neighboring states — Moldova and Ukraine, do not fall victim to provocations, do not believe that the people of Pridnestrovie have evil intentions. Moldovans, Ukrainians and Russians are equal here, and we live in peace and unity in our state. All we want is to work peacefully for the good of our families, our Republic," the chairperson of the Joint Council of Labor Collectives emphasized in the end of the meeting.
