Tiraspol, July 28. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Pridnestrovie's Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports that festive events dedicated to the 25th anniversary of deployment of the peacekeeping forces in Pridnestrovie will be held without the delegation of Moldova headed by Igor Dodon.
«Information on refusal of RM military representatives in the Joint Control Commission and the Joint Military Command to participate in the planned festive events in the territory of the Peacekeeping Forces' Joint Headquarters has been received from the Moldovan side," it is said in the statement published on the Foreign Ministry's website.
«Due to the above-mentioned, the Pridnestrovie's MFA informs that festive events will be held without participation of the RM delegation headed by I.N. Dodon," it is noted in the statement.
It was reported previously that the meeting of the Moldovan and Pridnestrovian presidents and also the Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin would take place in Bendery. The day before, performing artists and social activists from Russia had been denied entry to Moldova at the Chisinau airport. And today Romania has refused transit to the flight with Rogozin onboard through its airspace.
