Vadim Krasnoselsky visited the Republican Clinical Hospital

Vadim Krasnoselsky visited several social institutions of the republic immediately after the meeting with journalists. Its functioning is a direct and clear answer to the statements that medical care is allegedly not provided in the current difficult conditions in Pridnestrovie. The President visited the Republican Clinical Hospital. This large and significant facility was promptly prepared for the transition to an alternative gas supply method of heating using a modular liquid fuel boiler.

The President was told that a hospital with 590 beds has been deployed with the possibility of increasing their number to 630 at the moment. 458 are occupied. 50-60 people are admitted daily. The temperature in the wards is maintained above 20 ° C. The average daily consumption of diesel fuel is 1200 liters. This department was transferred to the second floor of the cardiology building since it was not technically possible to provide heat to the chemotherapy building. The administration, the premises of the Republican Dispensary for the Prevention and Treatment of HIV Infection and Chronic Viral Hepatitis, the tuberculosis dispensary, the blood transfusion department, the radiation therapy building, as well as the building where the pathological anatomy department and forensic medical examination are located, are heated using electric heaters. The power supply is uninterrupted. There are four backup diesel generators in case of an emergency power outage.

An outpatient service is also functioning. Some structural divisions have been moved to optimize the provision of heat to the premises. Outpatient consultative care is also provided – only at the base of Polyclinic No. 3 so far. Heat is supplied there by electric heaters. This is the only division of the Republican Clinical Hospital State Institution located in the power outage zone, the President was informed. Specialists are receiving patients based on the schedule of rolling blackouts.

The meeting was attended by the Minister of Healthcare of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Kristina Albul. She reported that approximately two and a half thousand beds have been deployed throughout the republic in general. Inpatient care has been temporarily closed only in two hospitals – Rybnitsa and Dubossary. These institutions accept patients and send them to hospitals of Kamenka or Grigoriopol, but provide emergency care if necessary. If the cases are complicated, patients are hospitalized in the Republican Clinical Hospital. About 1600 people are currently undergoing treatment in all hospitals in Pridnestrovie. There have been no refusals of hospitalization (except for planned operations and preventive treatment courses). It was noted that medical care is also provided to residents of Moldovan villages, who often seek medical care in Pridnestrovie as before. Vadim Krasnoselsky asked the Republican Clinical Hospital employees whether they experience discomfort due to the change in the method of heating the infrastructure of the medical town. Deputy Chief Physician of the Republican Clinical Hospital Irina Chekoltan reported that the technical changes have not affected the work of the medical staff in any way.
