Members of the PMR Security Council gathered at the presidential executive office to discuss the current state of affairs in the energy and humanitarian spheres, prospects for overcoming the crisis and taking measures to ensure greater stress resistance of the republic's life support systems in the future. Retrospective and analysis of the chronology and interrelation of events allows us to develop effective solutions; it is necessary to solve not only current problems, but also plan further actions in order to prevent new crises and minimize the negative consequences of the existing dire situation, it was noted in the course of the meeting. Members of the Security Council spoke about the importance of self-sufficiency of the state in all areas, emphasizing that it is necessary to strive for energy independence, reduce the influence of external factors, and look for alternative ways of energy supply in addition to ensuring food security. Tasks have been set for the purchase of solid fuel boilers and generators for institutions. Modern wood-burning stoves can not only be imported, but also manufactured locally. This production segment is successfully mastered by "Elektromash", producing boilers with a capacity from 15 kW to 500 kW. The equipment is different – both for indoor and outdoor installation. As for diesel generators, many appreciated their presence during the period of rolling blackouts.
The meeting participants discussed the Pridnestrovian budget, the parameters of which will undergo serious changes in connection with the events taking place in the country, which have led to a serious loss of income and an increase in expenses. Officials have been given current instructions, tasks have been set. Everyone is ready to promptly respond to a changing situation.
