President discusses a problem of railway blockade of import freights to PMR by Moldova and Ukraine with the Russian Ambassador

Tiraspol, August 10. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Head of state hosted the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Moldova Farit Mukhametshin. The Pridnestrovie's Deputy Foreign Minister Dmitry Palamarchuk also took part in the working meeting, the Presidential Press Office reports.

The sides discussed different aspects of Russian-Pridnestrovian relations development and also some common projects in social, economic and cultural spheres. The Russian side raised an issue concerning preparation for Russian State Duma elections in Pridnestrovie (the elections will take place on September 18, 2016).

Special attention during the meeting was paid to a problem of railway blockade of import freights to PMR by Moldova and Ukraine. «This issue is sharp and burning. The President informed the Russian Ambassador on some results of the Security Council on Monday and on the current situation with delivery of import frights, first of all fuels and lubricants, to the territory of the republic," the Pridnestrovie's Deputy Foreign Minister Dmitry Palamarchuk told following the results of the meeting.
