More than 370 voting stations are organized for vote of the Russian citizens at the State Duma elections on September 18 in 145 countries of the world, Russian mass media report.
According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, as July 1, a number of the Russian voters abroad amounts to 1 872 390 citizens, including 1 664 573 persons constantly living abroad. Besides, in Baikonur (Kazakhstan) the number of voters amounts to 14 557 people.
On August 5 the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) certified number assignment to the voting stations abroad. Diplomatic missions and consular offices are responsible for their organization.
The CEC has also assigned 79 territorial election commissions (TEC) which are superior in relation to the precinct election commissions organized abroad.
It is important to remind that there will be 22 voting stations in Pridnestrovie including two (one in Tiraspol and one Bendery) special stations for the military personnel of the Operational Group of the Russian Force in Pridnestrovie and the peacekeepers on September 18. 9 stations will be opened in Tiraspol, 5 — in Bendery, 2 — in Rybnitsa and 2 — Dubossary, by 1 — in Kamenka, Grigoriopol, Slobodzeya and Dnestrovsk.
