Russia called on the OSCE to prevent escalation in Pridnestrovie

The Russian diplomat drew the attention of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office to the urgency of the Pridnestrovian issue

Vienna, April 11. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the OSCE Maxim Buyakevich called on the organization to take comprehensive measures to prevent further escalation of tensions in Pridnestrovie.

“We draw the attention of the current chairmanship and personally of the Minister Ian Borch to the urgency of the Pridnestrovian issue on the eve of his trip to the Moldavian-Pridnestrovian region. We hope that through joint efforts we will be able to prevent the situation from developing into a negative and unpredictable scenario,” the Russian diplomat said.

Let us remind you that objects on the territory of Pridnestrovie have been attacked twice recently using unmanned aerial vehicles. On March 17, as a result of the strike in Tiraspol, at the aircraft parking lot of one of the military units, a helicopter was destroyed, and on April 5, a radar station was damaged in the Rybnitsa region.
