Tiraspol, 14 April. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. In the course of a working visit to Moscow the acting foreign minister of the PMR, Vitaly Ignatyev, held a meeting with the director of the Russian Institute for Strategic Studies (RISS), Leonid Reshetnikov.
The sides exchanged views on the current international situation around Pridnestrovie. According to the MFA's press service, the interlocutors made an in-depth review of the process of settling Moldovan-Pridnestrovian relations with regard to unilateral restrictive measures taken by Kishinev against Pridnestrovie.
Vitaly Ignatyev and Leonid Reshetnikov focused on issues relating to bilateral relations, including the development of scientific and expert cooperation. They particularly discussed the organisation of masterclasses and webinars in Pridnestrovie with the participation of leading Russian experts.
The foreign minister highly evaluated the efforts made by RISS's Dniester-Prut Centre in the sphere of cultural, humanitarian and educational cooperation between Russia and Pridnestrovie.
Vitaly Ignatyev accepted an invitation of the editor-in-chief of RISS-TV, Alexander Krutov, and appeared on a TV programme dedicated to the current issues of Pridnestrovie's foreign policy amid contemporary challenges and threats.
