Amends to the Pridnestrovie's law «About Some State Measures Aimed to Increase Macroeconomic and Socio-Economic Stability of the PMR» were adopted in the second and final reading at the today's parliament session. They provide creation of a new free economic zone type for tourism and recreation in Pridnestrovie and also extend a range of industrial zones including organizations making software products and also call-centers.
For example, reduction of the Unified Social Tax is provided to 14% for the IT-companies.
It's important to remind that there are six free economic zones in Pridnestrovie now, all of them are industrial. The question concerning the creation of FEZ in Kamenka Region is considered now. Free Economic Zones are created to develop social and economic spheres of the territory, to provide the population employment, to attract investments into the companies and to develop export-oriented and import-substituting productions basing on new technologies.
