Bendery, May, 11. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. At a meeting with the special representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Franco Frattini, PMR President Vadim Krasnoselski outlined the main issues of the negotiation process.
“The cornerstone of the negotiation process is the problems of telecommunications and the termination of criminal cases. There is also a new agenda - the issue of banking interaction, the freedom of postal correspondence delivery to the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. An important issue is the incomplete functioning of the bridge across the Dniester in the area of the villages of Bychok and Gura-Bikului and the need for further progress in the agreement on “neutral” (note: without Pridnestrovian or Moldavian state symbols) car license plates. We are talking about a neutral driver's license", - Vadim Krasnoselski said.
Vadim Krasnoselski paid special attention to the issue of joint posts between Moldovan and Ukrainian security forces on the border of Ukraine with Pridnestrovie.
“In addition, we are concerned about the functioning of joint Ukrainian-Moldovan posts on the territory of Ukraine - so that political decisions are not taken that will aggravate our economic situation in terms of exports and imports,” the President of Pridnestrovie stressed.
Vadim Krasnoselski also outlined the Pridnestrovian proposal for the construction of the Bendery-Varnitsa trolleybus line (Bendery suburb under the Moldovan jurisdiction) - Severnyy (Bendery subdistrict completely cut off from the PMR territory).
At the same time, the head of state stressed: “If the negotiation process is stumbling into a place, as is happening today, it will be very difficult to talk about any progress in reaching agreements. Therefore, we are supporters of the continuation of the negotiation process, ranging from meetings of working groups and political representatives to the normal operation of the “3 + 2” and “5 + 2” formats.
