Tiraspol, February, 21. / Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The representatives of the German consulting company «Berlin Economics» Thomas Otten and Dmitry Chervyakov visited Pridnestrovie and met the management of the Supreme Council to study the situation in the sphere of individual entrepreneurship and to make recommendations about its improvement.
«Berlin Economics» is the independent company which specializes in providing consultations for private and state sectors at the international level. The regional focus of the company is directed to the countries with the transitional and developing market economy.
The Head of the Parliament Alexander Korshunov noded that the recommendation of foreign experts is important both for public authorities and for the business.
«It is already the sixth meeting since 2017. All of them are constructive also bring benefit. Your recommendations are rather professional, and mostly they are used in the activity of parliament and at the adoption of management decisions», - the Chairman of the Supreme Council noted.
Now at the request of the Government of the PMR the German company is engaged in the analysis of the Pridnestrovian legislation regulating the activity of individual entrepreneurs. In particular, as the new system will work as far as it is comparable to the best international practices and whether there is a potential for its further improvement.
Let's remind, the last year September in Pridnestrovie it was accepted a package from 10 laws reforming the operating system of taxation of individual entrepreneurs. At choice three tax modes were offered to them: the patent, simplified systems of taxation and also tax regime for self-employed persons. Laws, as it was, expected, will come into force since April 1 of the current year.
«We told what task was pursued when undertook reform of the individual entrepreneurship. It was important for us to understand the opinion of experts, and they highly appreciated the work of the state in the field of economic reforms. Now they want to look at what effect for the state will bring the regarding increase in fiscal charges in the budget, a conclusion from a shadow of unfair businessmen and in general improvement of enterprise activity in our state», - explained following the results of a meeting the Head of Parliamentary Committee on Development of Business and the Industry Victor Guzun.
During preparation of the review of the business climate, the German experts will consider the point of view of both government institutions, and businessmen and accounting workers.
In the nearest future «Berlin Economics» plan to hold similar meetings with the management of the Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Finance.
