There was a holiday in Dubossary today. The enterprise, whose history is exactly one hundred years old, was honored. A ceremonial meeting on the occasion of the centenary of the "Bouquet of Moldova" plant was held in the Palace of Children's and Youthful Creativity. The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky arrived to congratulate the team. The President awarded "Bouquet of Moldova" the Order of Merit, 1st degree. The collective award was accepted from the hands of the President by the general director of the closed joint-stock company Tatyana Garkavaya.
Congratulating the management, veterans and employees of the enterprise, Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that it is difficult to imagine Dubossary and the Pridnestrovian land as a whole without viticulture and winemaking. The PMR President recalled that the enterprise has gone through many trials over its history, but has survived and is successfully developing. Vadim Krasnoselsky said that the main wealth of "Bouquet of Moldova" is the people who create products filled with the warmth of each soul. The grapevine feels everything that happens on the land where it grows, according to Vadim Krasnoselsky. The President wished peace to Pridnestrovie, a rich harvest to the winegrowers, and new achievements to the plant's staff.
Vadim Krasnoselsky presented state awards – orders and medals - to the most distinguished employees of the plant.
They recalled during the ceremonial event the history of the creation of the enterprise – from a distillery operating before the revolution and the creation of a co-operative society in the 20s of the last century to a high-tech, but preserving the traditions of large-scale production.
They said that the plant was almost destroyed during the Great Patriotic War, but it was restored in 1946. They mentioned 1965 when the association managed to process a record for the Soviet Union 40 thousand tons of grapes in one season, 12 thousand of which were directly at the Dubossary winery. The history of creating high-quality flavored wines began after that. The creative team developed a unique recipe using spicy and aromatic ingredients. The brand of "Bouquet of Moldova" appeared, the composition of which included 28 plants. There were other noteworthy brands of original wines: "Autumn", "The orchards’ scent", "Morning dew", "Pure poetry", "Dream". Dubossary products received well-deserved recognition from specialists at the Exhibition of Economic Achievements of the Moldavian SSR in 1968, and at the World Yalta Tasting in 1970.
The winemaking enterprise was given the status of a pilot plant during this period.
A scientific and technical laboratory was equipped at the plant, medicinal and spicy-aromatic crops were grown on its own plantations, and specialized production workshops were built. The special pride of "Bouquet of Moldova" is "Sanetate". The drink, the name of which translates as "Health", was created by special order of the cosmonaut training center in 1976.
The balm was renamed "Cosmical" later, preserving the recipe rich in biologically active, tonic, and nutritious substances. The enterprise pays special attention to the design of products – containers and packaging. The plant launched a production line for herbal tea "Bouquet of Moldova" in 1997.
The current product range includes 12 flavored names, five table wines, four sparkling wines, six liqueurs, two cocktails, three balms, seven tinctures, three types of vodka, ten cognacs and divins aged from three to ten years, three types of tea. The number of spicy and aromatic ingredients used in production (exclusively natural) is 60. The plant's collection of its own products, which began to be collected in 1967, includes 46 thousand bottles. The company employs two and a half hundred people involved in the full production cycle – from growing raw materials to selling finished products in the "Bouquet of Moldova" brand network. Moldova, Russia, Belarus, Greece, and Israel are sales markets in addition to Pridnestrovie.
A significant event of today was mentioned at the celebration: a ceremony was held to lay an Orthodox chapel near the vineyards of "Bouquet of Moldova" before the start of the ceremonial meeting.
