The reduction in revenues from the single customs payment directly affects development programs

The government proposes to preserve them through the redistribution of budget funds

Tiraspol, July 8. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The government proposes to adjust the parameters of the 2024 budget. This is due to the failure to fulfill the plan for revenues from the united customs payment (UCP). The reasons for the negative dynamics are unstable foreign trade conditions as a result of economic pressure from Moldova.

The reduction in revenues from the UCP directly affects development programs, the Government press service reports.

“To date, a total of about 20 million rubles from the planned amount has not been received from the corresponding target budget funds. For the most part, this is reflected in the income of the Capital Investment Fund and the Road Fund,” Finance Minister Alena Ruskevich said.

To ensure that development programs do not sag, the Ministry of Finance proposes to redistribute budget revenues: to offset the losses of the UCP with revenues above the plan from the corporate income tax and revenues of individual entrepreneurs operating under a simplified taxation system. Another source will be the income of enterprises with state participation.

Some expenses will also be redistributed. In particular, funds from the “My Business” project will be redirected to subsidize part of the interest rates on preferential loans. The remaining funds of the Mutual Fund will be redistributed for the improvement of rural areas, repair and construction of social and cultural facilities and highways.
