Tiraspol, March 18. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR issued a statement regarding sabotage against one of the military units of Pridnestrovie. Let us recall that on March 17, unidentified persons attacked an aircraft parking lot using a kamikaze drone. As a result, the helicopter was destroyed.
In its statement, the Foreign Ministry of the PMR condemned these actions, emphasizing that they threaten people's lives, peace and stability on the banks of the Dniester.

“March 17 this year one of the military units of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic was hit by a kamikaze drone, which caused a fire and destruction of military property.
We condemn this terrorist act and any similar actions that threaten people’s lives, peace and security on the banks of the Dniester, which is a challenge for all states truly interested in regional stability.
The silencing by particular actors of the unprecedented terrorist threat to Pridnestrovie, expressed by a series of terrorist attacks over the past three years, is a negative factor provoking the continuation of terrorist attacks. This is confirmed by the inadequate response to the incident by the office of the political representative of Moldova, implemented in the spirit of primitive propaganda encouraging further escalation.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic sent appeals to the international participants of the 5 + 2 format with a call to take a proactive position in order to suppress terrorist actions against peaceful Pridnestrovie, prevent the escalation of tension and assist in creating conditions for a civilized settlement of the Moldovan-Pridnestrovian conflict.”
It should be noted that the PMR Investigative Committee opened a criminal case into the explosion of an MI-8 helicopter at the aviation site of a military unit in Tiraspol.
