Bendery, October 6/ Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Pridnestrovie understands that measures to implement military registration are regular work of Moldovan military-territorial centers, however, at the same time reports of such measures are perceived with suspicion. This was stated by the JCC co-chairman from Pridnestrovie, Oleg Belyakov.
“There is, of course, a moment of concerns that the Moldovan side is monitoring its population in a national registration for war service, but this’s such a work that should be carried out everywhere and daily,” Oleg Belyakov noted. I don’t want to say that such work isn’t carried out in our country or that such work isn’t carried out in other states. The main thing is that this doesn’t bother us from the point of view of mobilization, conscription to active military service as well as the start of the military training commencement of these people. This would be quite dangerous. Undoubtedly, we remain cautious concerning everything, but at the same time we think that on the Moldovan territory they understand very well that it’s impossible to destabilize the situation.”
We remind you that earlier RM President Maia Sandu in a conversation with Russian pranksters Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexei Stolyarov, who pretended to be Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal, admitted the possibility of mobilization in the country. The administration of the RM President as well as the Defense Ministry denied the authenticity of this information. Against such background, there were reports that reservists were called to the military-territorial centers of Moldova. According to the Defense Ministry of Moldova, it does not concern mobilization activities, but daily work to clarify military registration databases.
