Tiraspol, November 22 /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The expert working groups online meeting on human rights was held today.
Apart from the current human rights issues discussed at the specialized professionals level, the PMR delegation drew a meeting participants’ attention to the widespread nature of Pridnestrovian residents’ rights violations due to the embargo introduction by Moldova and Ukraine on the Pridnestrovian vehicles and ambulances movement. According to the PMR Foreign Affairs Ministry press service, among them are fundamental rights to movement freedom, entrepreneurial activity, and qualified medical care receiving.
Pridnestrovian representatives expressed their concern over the persistence of the Pridnestrovian officials’ criminal prosecution practice for political reasons by the Moldovan power structures and called for the Moldovan corresponding obligations fulfillment in the negotiation process framework.
The situation with the illegal conviction of the Pridnestrovian citizen Andrei Samoni in Moldova was discussed.
