Moldova trying to blackmail Pridnestrovie

According to the PMR Foreign Ministry head, the RM’s representatives instead of the transport crisis, are willing to discuss the gas one

Tiraspol, October 19 /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. In a meeting with political representatives, which took place on October 18 at the OSCE Mission office in Chisinau, the Moldovan side, instead of initiating the transport crisis’ discussion, demanded that Pridnestrovie address Russia on the natural gas matter. This was announced by the PMR Foreign Affairs Minister Vitaly Ignatiev in an interview with the First Pridnestrovian TV Channel.

According to him, “the Moldovan side for whatever reason immediately demanded that we address Russia concerning the gas topic. What’s the connection between transport as well as the protocol decision and the natural gas theme? Speculation is unacceptable thing. I would call such actions as cynical, because here, right now, people have problems which were created with the Moldova participation. We read the Ukrainian side official report that mentioned Kiev agreement with Chisinau proposal to introduce restrictions from September 1.”

Nevertheless, the Pridnestrovian requirements validity, regarding the reanimation vehicles passage across the Ukrainian border was recognized by the Moldovan representatives. According to them, at that moment such issue is being resolved at the legislative level. They promised to report results in the near future, the PMR Foreign Affairs Minister said.
