PMR President: Moldova is a complicated negotiator that does not keep its word

According to Vadim Krasnoselsky, this practice dates back to the historical and tragic 1992

Dubossary, June 11. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The series of the Head of State Vadim Krasnoselsky`s visits to the cities and districts of the republic are under way. Today, the President is in the Dubossary Region.

The Head of State met with representatives of the local state administration, as well as the people's representatives.

The dialogue began with the question of foreign policy in general and the course of the negotiation process in particular. The Head of State noted that foreign policy topics were a constant component of the work agenda of the head of the country. Contacts with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the republic are of a continuing daily nature. Communication with foreign diplomats is also systemic.

As for the negotiations with Moldova, they were difficult throughout the history, and they remain so today. The period of 2017-2018 was a time of shifts in the negotiation process, from 2019 the dialogue began to stagnate, accompanied by a demonstrative disregard for the agreements reached earlier by Moldova, Vadim Krasnoselsky recalled.

The Head of the Pridnestrovian State called Moldova a complicated negotiator that does not keep its word, noting that this practice dates back to the historical and tragic 1992.

Back then, after the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova adopted a decision on a peaceful settlement of the conflict, Bendery was unblocked, and Moldovan troops attacked the peaceful city.

Vadim Krasnoselsky spoke about the agreements that are not being implemented today and the measures taken by the Pridnestrovian side to overcome the difficulties arising in this regard, including in the economy.

Answering the questions of Dubossary residents, Vadim Krasnoselsky spoke about the details of a recent meeting with mediators and observers of the negotiation process, which delegation was formed in the 3 + 2 format. He indicated that that time he had invited representatives of the Pridnestrovian public to the conversation, which caused an ambiguous reaction from the guests, according to the website of the PMR President.
