Tiraspol, June 9. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The stamp of medical institutions from Pridnestrovie cannot be an obstacle for the admission of Pridnestrovian residents, who have undergone a full course of vaccination, to Ukraine.
“At the moment we are in constant contact with the Embassy of Ukraine, with the OSCE, the office of the World Health Organization in Chisinau. We have already received an official response from the political representative of Moldova to the appeal that we have sent. In its appeal, the Moldovan side informs Ukraine and other participants of the 5 + 2 format that vaccination certificates issued by medical institutions of Pridnestrovie are standardized, generated automatically and can be verified through a special QR code. In this situation, the stamp of medical institutions from Pridnestrovie cannot be an obstacle for the Pridnestrovian residents, who have undergone a full course of vaccination, admission to Ukraine. In this regard, we expect a favourable solution to the issue by the Ukrainian side," the PMR Ministry of Foreign Affairs told Novosti Pridnestrovya.
Earlier, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pridnestrovie reported the refusal of the State Border Service of Ukraine employees to admit citizens vaccinated against coronavirus in Pridnestrovie to the territory of the country with the issuance of a corresponding certificate of international standard.
