Moscow, April 08. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky was interviewed by the Russia Today international information holding company. The conversation took place at the press center of the Sputnik agency. The neutral license plates theme was discussed.

The head of the Pridnestrovian state reminded that as early as May 2018, a protocol decision was signed in cooperation with Moldova on issuing neutral license plates to Pridnestrovian car owners.

“Unfortunately, since June 2019, we have seen stagnation in the implementation of this agreement on the part of Moldova. It hasn’t been tried and tested to the full extent. At this point our Russian colleagues as well as other the 5+2 format participants are in sympathy with us. Until the protocol is fully implemented, no temporary restrictions should be imposed,” Vadim Krasnoselsky explained.

The PMR President expressed his hope that as a result of negotiations, the protocol will start working in the earliest possible time.

“When all citizens wishing to receive a neutral license plates will have them, then we can talk about some terms or restrictions. Currently it’s just unacceptable,” the President stressed.

Pridnestrovian as well as the Republic of Moldova special representatives will discuss neutral numbers issue.
