Tiraspol, May 28. / Novosti Pridnestrovya /. The head of the Government Alexander Martynov held a meeting with experts of the «Berlin Economics» company.
It should be noted that interaction of the Government and the company began in 2017. As the Prime Minister explained, the dialogue always transformed into the practical recommendations of experts used by the Pridnestrovian side for carrying out credit and monetary, investment and budgetary policy.
«We see positive practical results. There is a decrease in budgetary deficiency, stabilization of the situation in the foreign exchange market and, eventually, growth of the economy», – the press service of the Government quotes Alexander Martynov.
Improvement of business and investment climate in Pridnestrovie was also discussed during the meeting. Last year the investment law positively assessed by experts of «Berlin Economics» was adopted in the Republic, and also the Investments Agency was created.
«It is important that there are first signed investment contracts, including the companies of the European Union countries. But, despite advance, there are also problems», - Martynov noted.
According to him, because of the unrecognized status of the republic foreign investors ask guarantees on investments not only from the Government of the PMR but also from the recognized states and their banking system. Pridnestrovie understood such wishes of investors, the Prime Minister noted.
«Besides the signature of the Government and the investor in the investment contract there should be a signature of the guarantor and it should be large Russian or European Bank», – Alexander Martynov told.
Also, the real production sector crediting questions were discussed. The German expert in the sphere of the state export and credit guarantees with more than 30 years work experience Hans Janus stated a number of recommendations about work in the designated directions and also told about other countries practice.
