Tiraspol, February, 11. / Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The President of the PMR met the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to the RM. Welcoming Oleg Vasnetsov, Vadim Krasnoselsky thanked him for participation in work of the board of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR, the Press Service of the Head of the state reports.
The parties discussed the current work in the negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and Moldova, the course of implementation of the reached agreements and also the prospects of the signing of legal decisions on the most current problems in the relations of the parties.
Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that the Foreign Ministry of the PMR did the serious volume of work for implementation of the reached agreements in the Pridnestrovian legislation and their implementation for the benefit of citizens. At the same time, the questions of the closing of politically motivated criminal cases brought in Moldova concerning citizens of Pridnestrovie and also a renewal of full freight railway communication through the territory of the PMR are unresolved.
Oleg Vasnetsov noticed that Russia as the guarantor state of the negotiation process is fully informed on the current situation.
«We hold consultations with our colleagues on the 5+2 format, with OSCE Representatives in Chisinau. There is a feeling that these questions concern not only Pridnestrovie and Russia but also other participants of the Pridnestrovian settlement», – the Russian diplomat noted.
Throughout a meeting, Vadim Krasnoselsky and Oleg Vasnetsov discussed the prospects of development of trade and economic relations between Russia and Pridnestrovie, work of point of exit consular service of the Embassy of the Russian Federation and other questions of the bilateral agenda.
