VITALY IGNATYEV MEETS WITH THE HEAD OF OSCE MISSION IN RM CLAUS NOYKIRCH

The parties discussed a wide range of topical issues on the agenda of the negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova

Tiraspol, December, 13. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. PMR Foreign Minister, Vitaly Ignatiev, met with the head of OSCE Mission in Moldova, Klaus Neukirch. 

During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of topical issues on the agenda of the negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova. The situation with agreements implementation recorded in the minutes of the previous three meetings of the “Permanent Meeting...” was analyzed in detail. In this context, the diplomats stated the need for the full implementation of the obligations assumed by the parties in the field of telecommunications and politically motivated criminal cases. In addition, the meeting participants expressed a consolidated opinion on the importance of preserving the dynamics that had developed over the past year in the dialogue between Pridnestrovie and Moldova. 

Within the framework of communication, Vitaly Ignatiev and Klaus Neukirch also identified other priorities for work in the framework of the negotiation process in 2019. In particular, the interlocutors outlined the prospects for interaction with the OSCE in the context of the future Slovak Republic chairmanship. 

The press service of the PMR MFA reports, that at the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to maintain a system of working communication across the full range of topical issues.
