Tiraspol, October, 26. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Products of the Electromash plant have long been popular in the Russian market. It is the high quality and reasonable price that make dozens of Russian fuel and energy complex enterprises choose in favor of Pridnestrovian engines from year to year. Meanwhile, the competition is intense: the developments are being promoted by both domestic manufacturing enterprises and representatives of Ukraine and China.

Exclusive representative
The Siberian Federal District is where 16 per cent of the total volume of electric machines produced by Electromash for the Russian consumer is supplied. Only three years ago, this proportion was a maximum of 3 per cent. The plant owes much of this success to one of its sales representatives, NPO “Strategia” Ltd. - the management of Pridnestrovian enterprise considered and decided to establish the exclusive right to sell its products in the territory of the Siberian Federal District for 5 years.
By the way, Electromash has concluded an agreement to open an exclusive trade and service center with the Novosibirsk “Strategia”, representing the interests of the Pridnestrovian machine-building giant in the Siberian Federal District for over 9 years. The strategic document was signed by the general directors of enterprises Vladimir Trandasir and Igor Rezchikov in the form of a ceremony on the margins of the 4th Pridnestrovian International Investment Economic Forum.
Service Center
The opening date of the service center in the city of Novokuznetsk has already been announced - December 1 of this year, and there are no analogues to it in Russia yet. What caused the need for such a center and what else the agreement provides for, told Vladimir Trandasir, General Director of Electromash JSC, in an interview with the observer of the Novosti Pridnestrovya news agency.
“We have serious interests focused on the territory of the Siberian Federal District. The competition is heavy, and consumer enterprises have increased requirements. The conjuncture of procurement is changing. If earlier purchases were made for a long period of storage - for three or five years, now - only when necessary, for the most part - in case of emergencies. In such situations, it is important for the supplier to be closer to the consumer in order to shorten the repair time to the maximum, and also supply components to it or the engine itself. In fact, the winner is the one who offers the service or product at this moment, when necessary, and not “tomorrow” - Vladimir Trandasir explained.
Specialists will be trained in Pridnestrovie
Local Russian experts will be carrying out warranty and post-warranty service, as well as commissioning and construction supervisory services after the opening of the center. Next week they will arrive in Pridnestrovie, and within a few weeks they will receive special training at the plant.
“Today, such work is expensive to carry out by the Electromash plant specialists. These are business trips and distraction of high-class specialists from the substantive work. This takes time. In addition, conditions doesn`t always permit to perform these works qualitatively. Sometimes we even have to return the engine to Tiraspol and conduct inspections and repairs here, in the factory. The center's site will allow us to do it on site - conveniently, quickly and efficiently” – Electromash Director stressed.
Vladimir Trandasir noted that there is a need for service centers of this class, and the plant plans to open about four units throughout Russia.
Finished products storage
Another advantage that Russian fuel and energy complex enterprises will be able to use when working with an exclusive representative in the Siberian Federal Region is the storage of finished products. This site should be operational by the end of 2018, Vladimir Trandasir assured.
“An order for at least 20 large electric machines manufacture must be placed before the end of the year by our exclusive dealer, so that we can meet the needs in case of emergency. This will be our competitive advantage when the delivery time of the engine will not be within 90-120 days, and some separate items can be shipped from the storage in the territory of the Siberian Federal District the very next day” - Electromash Director emphasized.
Advances in the nuclear market development
In 2015, Pridnestrovian machine-building giant began to explore the nuclear market actively. If four years ago our specialists served single orders, today Electromash engines revolve at 6 nuclear power plants. One of them is located in Belarus, Russia and India, three - in Ukraine.
“We studied the requirements and certified the individual batches of engines. The customer is attracted first of all, by the fact that we offer competitive terms in price, logistics, and calculation. In the past month and the month before that, we shipped electric motors at the Kudankulam NPP (India), which is being built by Russia. We already have repeat orders for 2019” - Vladimir Trandasir noted.
Innovation stimulates the demand
In order to successfully compete in the Customs Union market, where the plant’s products are mainly supplied, Electromash JSC seeks to develop and offer its customers new series of machines.
“From our post-Soviet space enterprises club, no plant can boast such a speed of new technology introduction. Over the past three years, we have diversified the products we manufacture by almost half” - Vladimir Trandasir said.
Such a successful work is associated primarily with the engineering design office qualitative reorganization. It was supplemented by the young specialists from Pridnestrovie, whom Electromash plant selects while they are studying at the engineering and technology faculty of Pridnestrovian State University.
The first to the market
The idea about the production expansion at the enterprise was born at the end of 2014, when the import substitution program was approved in Russia. Machine builders understood that someone must offer Russian mining and oil companies an analogue of the equipment that was supplied from Europe until 2014.
“This is where we run into this market, and today we offer a replacement for imported equipment, which was previously supplied by European companies. Until the end of the year, we will develop a whole line of a new class energy efficient machines. In Russia we will be the first to produce them” - Electromash Director noted.
Such machines, which allow to save resources, are in demand by the domestic fuel and energy complex and, undoubtedly, will be in demand.
