Tiraspol, 25 April. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Tiraspol office of the OSCE Mission was the host of this year's first meeting of Pridnestrovian and Moldovan expert (working) groups on crime control.
In accordance with the previous agreements of the negotiation process, the parties resumed the discussion of a problem related to the criminal prosecution of Pridnestrovian and Moldovan officials, the MFA's press service reports.
The Pridnestrovian delegation led by interior minister Ruslan Mova informed the participants about the readiness of the Pridnestrovian side to objective and practical work aimed in this field.
The sides confirmed the necessity of adopting a new agreement on the principles of interaction between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries and the interaction of the authorized bodies of the parties in preventing and eliminating the consequences of emergency situations.
The parties agreed to continue work on these issues within the framework of expert meetings.
