Tiraspol, 19 March. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Eighty-seven members of Russia's Public Chamber monitored the conduct of the Russian presidential election in Pridnestrovie.

According to them, work at the polling stations was organised at a high level with no violations recorded.

"Despite the bad weather, people kept on coming, music was playing, the buffet was opened. Such a festive mood that you can not render it in words. It was very good. Everything was carefully elaborated; everything was organized at the highest level. No comments, no wishes," noted Lyudmila Marogulova, a member of Russia's Public Chamber.

"No violations have been found. People came with families, good-naturedly, openly, and everything was organized at a high level. There were a lot of people; everyone understood how important it was and that it was the decisive day, that the future depends on it," said observer Olesya Sinzyuk.

Voters, who showed an active civic position, noted that having voted they fulfilled their duty and chose the future not only of Russia but also of Pridnestrovie.

"We have not only taken part in voting but also elected the candidate who advocates strong statehood. This means that the volume of assistance to us will be maintained at least at the current level," Supreme Council member Andrey Safonov believes.
