Tiraspol, February 2. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. A working meeting between the Pridnestrovie's Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatyev and the head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova Michael Scanlan was held in the Foreign Ministry.
Pridnestrovie's Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Stetsyuk and the Ambassador-at-Large in the rank of the Deputy Foreign Minister of the PMR Ruslan Slobodenyuk participated in the meeting, the Foreign Ministry's Press Service reports.
The sides continued sharing their opinions on a number of issues raised at the meeting with the President of the PMR Vadim Krasnoselsky. Specifically, relevant issues of negotiations between Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova were discussed.
"Within the discussion of the negotiation agenda on 2018, the primary focus was on the issue concerning the participation of the Pridnestrovie's cars in the international traffic. The sides agreed that active work was necessary in that area," it is said in the statement.
During the discussion, Vitaly Ignatyev paid special attention to the importance of a meaningful and productive dialogue on the problem concerning the termination of politically motivated criminal cases, the normalization of the situation in the field of railway freight transportation, the framing of the guaranteeing mechanism for implementation of the reached agreements. Along with it, the negative aspects concerning the establishment of joint control by Moldova and Ukraine on the Pridnestrovian-Ukrainian border were discussed.
In the end of the meeting, the sides agreed to support regular communication on all range of topical issues.
