Tiraspol, 21 December. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Pridnestrovie is ready to continue the negotiation process and is not going to stop it, President Vadim Krasnoselsky said in an interview with Russia 24.

«We have the «5+2' format of the negotiation process. Russia is a guarantor and mediator of the negotiation process. And the only way out is normal negotiations. We are ready to continue the negotiation process; we are not going to stop it — there are issues to discuss. We should talk about economic, humanitarian, cultural cooperation. About the recognition of our license plates, our documents, our education certificates and so on," said Vadim Krasnoselsky.

According to him, Pridnestrovie is not ready today to discuss its political status.

«Our political status is approved by the people. It is the independence of Pridnestrovie with the subsequent free accession to Russia. This is the people's choice," said the head of state.

Speaking about further relations with Moldova, Vadim Krasnoselsky said that «time will tell» as to which extent the new president of Moldova, Igor Dodon, «will hear us.»

The president also commented on the situation on the Ukrainian border, calling it stable

«Ukraine's position to halt the transit of combustive-lubricating materials to the PMR through Ukraine is upsetting me. Both Belarusian and Russian imports have been cancelled. This is another issue to discuss within the negotiation process," the Pridnestrovian president concluded.
