Tiraspol, 11 December. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The first deputy chairman of Russia's State Duma committee for CIS affairs, Eurasian integration and relations with compatriots, Kazbek Taysayev, has visited a number of polling stations in Tiraspol this morning. In particular, he has visited Station 277, located in the Palace of Republic.
«It is the third station we have visited. They are all well prepared, have started work on time and without ruffle or excitement. A good and decent start has been given to the presidential election. Judging by the number of those who have already come to the polling stations, turnout will be high," said Kazbek Taysayev.
He recalled that he had visited Pridnestrovie the year before, during the Supreme Council election.
«I can note that the people engaged in the preparation and conduct of elections know their job. The process of voting itself must go smoothly. All necessary conditions have been created for voters and observers. We are in contact with all observers. No remarks have been made so far. I think it right to strengthen control over the voting process. I have visited more than 15 countries, and everywhere the situation is similar," concluded Kazbek Taysayev.
