Tiraspol, 15 July. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. As late as next week, at a meeting of expert working groups, Moldova must respond to Pridnestrovie's proposals about reaching an agreement in the sphere of legalising graduate diplomas issued in Pridnestrovie, said the acting foreign minister during a briefing.
The mechanism worked out by the Pridnestrovian side is to allow Pridnestrovian graduates to freely continue post-graduate education, as well as to get jobs not only in Russia, but also in other countries, including EU states.
According to the diplomat, the Bavarian confidence building conference, which took place on 12−13 June in Bad Reichenhall, Germany, contributed to the work in this area. The most relevant issues in relations between Moldova and Pridnestrovie were discussed informally by all the members of the 5+2 format negotiations (Moldova and Pridnestrovie — conflict sides; the OSCE, Russia and Ukraine — mediators; the EU and USA — observers).
Vitaliy Ignatyev noted that the conference's agenda had been formed in accordance with the protocol signed following Berlin's round of 5+2 negotiations, which took place in June. So, the participants of the conference discussed the above problem related to legalisation of Pridnestrovie-is
«We are expecting results and answers from the Moldovan side on the document legalisation problem. They have agreed to consider our proposals as a 'home task'. We are expecting similar actions at the level of telecommunicatio
Vitaly Ignatyev underscored, at the same time, that Pridnestrovie had already worked out mechanisms of resolving the existing problems in all dialogue areas, but their approval and implementation were obstructed by the lack of political will among Moldovan officials.
According to the diplomat, in the circumstances where the resolution of socio-economic problems affecting the living standards of Pridnestrovians are deliberately delayed and blocked, it is hard to speak about building confidence between the sides.
