Rogozin: We are interested in calling the blockade off Pridnestrovie

The Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation made such comment on his arrival on the Facebook page

Tiraspol, July 5. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Russia is interested in calling off the blockade — it was declared by the Russian President's Envoy for Pridnestrovie Dmitry Rogozin. At the same time, he notes in the comment that Moldova is interested in the Russian market.

«Today, working visit to Chisinau and Tiraspol begins. Moldova is interested in the Russian market for the wine, we are interested in calling the blockade off Pridnestrovie," the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation writes on his Facebook page.

It is expected that in Chisinau he will discuss a roadmap for restoration of trade and economic relations between two countries with the Moldavan Deputy Prime Minister/the Economy Minister Octavian Kalmyk heading the intergovernmental commission from the Moldavan side.

Later on, the Russain Deputy Prime Minister will arrive to Tiraspol to check out the situation in Pridnestrovie on the ground. It is expected that he meet with the President of Pridnestrovie Yevgeny Shevchuk and the representatives of the state authorities.

It is a reminder that Yevgeny Shevchuk met with Dmitry Rogozin in Moscow last week. The issues concerning the current economic and social situation of citizens and the situation in the Pridnestrovie's forex was discussed.

Dmitry Rogozin was appointed the Russian President's Envoy for Pridnestrovie in the spring of 2012, after election of Yevgeny Shevchuk as the head of the republic. Since then, Russia pays special attention to Pridnestrovie, implements a large humanitarian project through the Autonomous Noncommercial Organization «Euroasian integration».

Last time, Dmitry Rogozin visited Tiraspol in 2014.
