Tiraspol, 28 June. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Exchange control issues will be discussed in Moscow on 4 and 5 July by representatives of the Pridnestrovian and Russian governments and central banks, the Pridnestrovian Republican Bank (PRB) reports.
«The consultations will be held in Russia's central bank. Pridnestrovie will be represented by the minister of finance, minister of economic development and the chairman of the central bank. The similar delegation will represent Russia," said the chairman of the PRB, Edward Kosovsky.
An agreement to involve Russia's exchange control experts was reached yesterday during a meeting between the Pridnestrovian president, Yevgeny Shevchuk, and Russia's deputy prime minister, president's envoy on Pridnestrovie, Dmitry Rogozin.
It is expected that during the meeting proposals on stabilising the situation in Pridnestrovie's exchange market will be worked out. The Moscow consultations will be already the fourth avenue of search for a way out of the current situation.
«We have already received German experts, as well as auditors of the financial banking consultation. They are the main auditors of Russia's central bank. They have presented a multipage expert opinion. And the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy will soon present their opinion," said Edward Kosovsky.
The PRB finds it difficult to say if the situation will change after the consultations on the governmental level as the ultimate decision on exchange rate formation is made by the Supreme Council.
«We have a unique situation. Consultations are held at the level of governments, central banks, but the decision is made by the Supreme Council," underscored the chairman of the PRB.
